Brandi’s Sewing Machine Collage Class
Come and join Brandi in learning a simple technique which allows you space to be creative in your craft projects! This class does not require your sewing machine. You can complete your collage without it. The only time a machine is required is if you desire to quilt and bind your project.
This class is for all skill levels.
Supplies
- X-acto Knife- new blade
- Snips (sharp to the point scissors)
- Old Cutting Mat (the x-acto cuts tend to go in different directions, don’t ruin your good mat!) Your old cutting mat doesn't have to be big! Small one can work! The instructor uses a 12"x12" mat. PJ&Co does have a few old mats available, first come first serve.
- 8-12 10x10 squares with Steam a Seam 2 ironed on the back (this is the colored fabric to created the design of your project). You can have as many colors as you want or as few as you want. It's what you want your sewing machine to look like! Just be sure your background does not blend with any of your fabrics.
- 1 fat quarter for background fabric
- Pencil (or your favorite marking pen for paper)
Additional Class Information:
-Class participants will receive 10% instore purchases day of class.
-Studio will open 30 min prior to class start.
-Tardy/late arrivals greater than 15 minutes from class start time will not be admitted and no refunds will be issued.
-No guests, children or pets allowed.
-Class is non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to another person by contacting the shop. If the shop/instructor cancels the class, you will be issued a full refund.
