Snowbound Quilted Santa Hat
Get into the holiday spirits with the Snowbound Santa Claus Hat Class!
The Snowbound Hat Sewing pattern is an easy-to-follow sewing pattern for a quilted, lined, patchwork Santa Claus hat in two sizes.
The Snowbound pattern features three different versions (all included with the pattern): Quilted Hat Striped Patchwork Quilted Hat Square Patchwork Quilted Hat Suitable for light and medium-weight cotton and cotton blend fabrics. Not suitable for stretch fabrics. Quilting-weight cotton is recommended. Size: Medium: approx 15” tall with 25 1/2” interior circumference Large: approx 16” tall with 26 1/2” interior circumference The Large hat should fit most adults.

Supplies as noted on the back cover. IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN FABRICS, PLEASE HAVE THEM QUILTED PRIOR TO CLASS SO ASSEMBLY CAN START RIGHT AWAY!
Any embellishments you want to add! Ribbon, patches, sewing labels ect!

Water-soluble pen/tailor’s chalk
Ruler & rotary cutter- PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN RULERS!!! There are some available but this is the bottleneck of the class.
Denim sewing machine needles recommended
Glue or glue pen
Sewing machine in good working order
Basic sewing kit with fabric scissors, pins, seam ripper, binding clips, etc...
TEMPLATES WILL BE PROVIDED IN CLASS
Stefany will also have her famous Bag Bar (including pre quilted seasonal fabrics and coordinating fabrics for bias binding, and faux fur for trim) at the class so you can just bring your machine/notions and start creating! If you would like specific fabrics quilted for the project, please drop them off at the shop 2 weeks prior to the class and you will pay upon receiving them in the class.
Additional Class Information:
-Studio will open 30 min prior to class start.
-Tardy/late arrivals greater than 15 minutes from class start time will not be admitted and no refunds will be issued.
-Must be 18 years or older to register unless otherwise approved or specified by the instructor in advance.
-No guests, children or pets allowed.
-Class is non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to another person by contacting the shop. If the shop/instructor cancels the class, you will be issued a full refund.
-By attending a class or event, you are acknowledging and agreeing that you may be photographed or recorded. Plain Janes & Co reserves the right to use any photographs or recordings taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or other purposes without any further consent or compensation.
Sewing Machine is required. You must be familiar with your machine including basic tasking: winding your bobbin, changing the needle, cleaning under the case. (keeping in proper working order problem solve). Plain Janes & Co staff can provide minimal assistance depending on the machine!
