Julie writes: "I've made thousands of pineapple blocks, but they usually finish at a tiny 1 1/2" and are made into quilt jewelry. I thought it would be fun to make them bigger and turn them into a small quilt. This pattern is so simple to make larger (or smaller) - wouldn't it be awesome on a king sized bed? It would also be fun to make it completely scrappy, using lots of colors - a great stash buster for sure."
